Many people suffer from aching backs. There are times when even after investing in a fancy office chair and regular stretching it does not help ease the pain. They are available in so many materials and finishes that you are sure to have no problem finding one that blends in perfectly with the rest of your bedroom furtniure. Sometimes platform beds will have a headboard and footboard while a simple platform will do for other styles. The simplicity of design is what attracts some people to platform beds. Platform beds are typically constructed using either wood or metal to hold the mattress. Wood platform beds will often be made from strong particleboard or solid wood. Metal platform beds are usually created using sheet steel and tubular steel.
